October was a busy month for our family! So busy that I haven't gotten on here to fill y'all in!
One hightlight was going to EZ Orchards for their HarvestFest... feeding animals (Hannah loved the sheep the best), riding tractors, hay ride, "riding" a horse, choosing a pumpkin, and so much more!
Hannah's little legs weren't quite long enough! But she thought it was great!
Hannah was terribly disappointed that the horse didn't go anywhere - especially since she's done the horse thing several times. Apparently, they had a rule that you had to be over 2 to get to move on the horse. It was heart-wrenching to watch her little face watching the other kids get to actually ride the horses when she just had to sit - just didn't get the whole situation. If I'd known that it was like this, we'd have skipped the whole experience. I literally cried.
We've also enjoyed the beautiful fall weather, getting outside to play on the slide.
And, I had the fun opportunity to emulate my mother (or perhaps better said, Cruella) for Halloween at my school. It was great fun! Scared a few toddlers... Most of the students couldn't figure out who I was (for real, that is) and several staff couldn't either!
