This morning, Hannah crawled into bed with us as she usually does on the weekends. She snuggled in next to me and said in a whisper, "I talked to God." I asked what she had talked to him about, but she didn't know. A moment later, she said, "God yuvs me. Hannah yuvs God." I said, "yes, and Mommy and Daddy love God too." We talked about how much God loves us and how he is like our Daddy in heaven. "Hannah, you have TWO daddies, your daddy here and your God Daddy and they both love you very much." Her reply, "That's kinda funny Mommy," but it clearly made her happy as she snuggled in more.
Such a blessing to hear how our daughter's heart is tender toward God. Both Nathan and I had tears in our eyes as we silently thanked Him for speaking to her even now! What an answer to prayer! And such a good reminder of how we are to come to Him as a child.
